Mr. Li has over 17 years’ experience in financial asset management. Mr. Li is Responsible Officer (RO) for SFC Type 4 and Type 9 regulated activities. Mr. Li holds master degree of investment and actuarial from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and qualification certificate of FRM.
Mr. Li worked in China Industrial Securities International Asset Management Limited, served as the General Manager, Chief Investment Officer (CIO), RO of SFC Type 4 and 9 licenses. During his tenure, he led the team to increase the AUM from HKD 2billion to nearly HKD 10billion. The main types of funds include fixed income fund, equity fund, PE fund, etc. In August 2019, he led the team to launch the first equity mutual fund - CISI China Core Asset Fund, which is also the first equity fund approved as a Mutual Recognized Fund launched by Chinese securities group in Hong Kong.
Mr. Li worked in Shenzhen Yurun Guoding Capital Management Limited, served as Assistant President, Investment Director and Portfolio Manager. During his tenure, he successfully expanded the AUM to nearly RMB 2 billion. During the period of serving as the Portfolio Manager of “Yurun Guoding Capital Fund I”, the annualized return of the fund in 2014 was 134%, and the fund was ranked the second place of "2014 Best Rookie Hedge Fund of China Equity Strategy" by PE Ranking Network-Rongzhi Rating.
Mr. Li worked in Guoyuan Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited, served as the General Manager, Portfolio Manager and the RO for SFC Type 1, 4 and 9 regulated activities. Mr. Li Pan became RO at the age of 28, and was the youngest RO among Chinese securities group in Hong Kong at that time. During his tenure, he led the team from scratch to reach an AUM of more than HKD 8 billion. During his tenure as the Portfolio Manager of "Guoyuan Multi-strategy China Opportunities Fund", the fund achieved annual return of 47.2% and 16% in 2012 and 2013 respectively, significantly outperforming the HSCEI by 55% in two years. In 2012, the fund won the first place in the "2012 China Hedge Fund Overseas Fund" rated by PE Ranking Network-Rongzhi Rating.
